Virginia Tech officials issued an alert this morning about a gunman being spotted at the school's Blacksburg campus. The alert, issued at 9:37 a.m., said a person with a gun had been spotted near Dietrick Hall. (from the initial alert by the Richmond Times-Dispatch)
