Since I’ve been deployed out out here to Afghanistan, I’ve become a bit of a news junkie. I’ve subscribed to newsletters of all sorts from most of the country’s major newspapers, as well as a few others around my home state of MN, and also places where I’ve been stationed. One newsletter that it seems every newspaper website has is a “Breaking News” -letter, and I’ve found it interesting how quickly some things reach my inbox.

Moody’s Confirms US Credit Rating at AAA – 2 Aug 2011
It confirmed the rating after the debt-ceiling was lifted, but assigned a negative outlook.
