This is the article that caused me to change what I would include in this blog. I was originally going to restrict it only to stories that hit on two newspapers from different areas, but decided that I would include stories that hit only on one newspaper, if the event happened at least outside that state.
That said, this was a crazy story. 44 students who'd basically been on a field trip to watch a soccer match were killed when the flatbed cargo truck that was rented to bring them home skidded on muddy roads and rolled into a ditch.
The Denver Post was the only newspaper that broke this news as an alert.
