Japan Beats US in World Cup Final – 17 July 2011

We kept letting them come back, and then they finished us off.  Japan needed this after the year it's had, and that probably helped them out more than a little bit.

There were a LOT of sources that sent out alerts for this, and the variety in the headlines interested me more than it has for the other events I've posted about.  I've reduced the respective headlines to show only who BEAT who, or who LOST TO who, and whether it was reported as just the World Cup or the Women's World Cup.
