It seems to me as though the President is trying to paint the GOP into a corner, using almost the same logic as the NFL when it spoke out against the Players Union when the CBA talks broke down. "Hey, look everybody...I'm willing to work for you. It's these other guys who are being so unreasonable." I can only hope that this is resolved in a much more timely manner.
